Szövegdoboz: About us GENERAL Design of Machines and Structures was introduced first in 2003, by Volume 1 Number 1. This number of the journal was published in Hungarian and was dedicated to Machine Tools Department of the University of Miskolc for its previous 50 years. In 2012 after a long break the journal was published again with the papers of the Department of Machine and Product Design. The main focus of the journal is the machine design that is designing machine tools and machine parts. Mechatronics is also in the focus. From 2012 the journal is to be published twice a year, and reached on this page in electronic version. AIMS AND TOPICS Machine tools Machine elements Machine parts Mechatronics Pneumatics Design methodology Acoustics Diagnostics PUBLISHING The journal is reviewed, and published twice a year. The first annual number appears in April, and the second number appears in November. We are looking forward to papers the whole year, but the deadline for the two issues are March 31, and October 31.
