    Participants, programme

    The participants of the Junior Mathematical Congress will be high school aged students interested in Mathematics and applications of Mathematics, students participating in national and international mathematical competions, future mathematicians and their teachers. We welcome all students and accompanying people. The official languages of the camp and the conference are English and Hungarian. Apart from lectures by scholars, the participants may themselves give talks, present computer programs or exhibit posters, each participant will be given the chance to present his results. During the conference there will be organized some small (20-30 people) working groups in order to deepen the study of different aspects of Mathematics. The papers of the participants will be published in English and Hungarian special editions of the mathematical journal PI, and we will make up a volume of Abstracts for all contributors. This meeting will provide an excellent opportunity for the participants to make friends and to create the base of future professional collaboration. The social programme contains welcome and farewell evening, sightseeing, a trip to National reservation of Aggtelek, visit of the famous stalactite cave, disco and folk dance evening. will be high school aged students interested in Mathematics.

    Costs of participation
    The participants have to pay USD 150 (if payed before May 31) for the complete programme, the above sum includes the participation fee, the student type (3-5 bed bedrooms) accommodation for 6 nights ( from Sunday, August 11. to Saturday, August 16), the breackfast, lunch and dinner for 6 days, the costs of the trip, local transport, handouts. After May 31, or if paying on spot the above sum will be USD. 170 For accompany the given sum is reduced to USD 110, resp.130 and includes accommodation and meals, and social programme. An extra night + breackfast will cost USD 18. For hotel type accommodation you will be assisted.

    Methods of payment

    Payment for the participation and the costs of optional programmes can be made in any major currency (using the rate of exchange on the day of payment) by bank transfer to the Junior Mathematical Society Miskolc as:
